The Tree of Life has always had a strong symbolism in many different eras and times.
The Tree of Life is spoken of in the Christian Bible, a symbol of God's love for Adam and Eve, whose fruits could not be eaten at the expense of the loss of eternal life.
In Egyptian mythology, trees gave green to the isolated expanses of the desert and therefore were seen as a representation of the divine, as if a god wanted to bless that place by giving it life.
Chinese mythology tells of a tree that produced precious fruits, capable of ensuring immortality for those who ate them (the fruit appeared only once every three hundred years).
In Buddhism the Bodhi tree is worshiped, the tree under which the Buddha attained enlightenment.
This tree represents the path to enlightenment and, as such, is the symbol of life.

In the Celtic tradition, known is the oak called Yggdrasil.
The roots represented the underworld, the place where the deceased lived, halfway up the trunk of the tree was the real world or middle world, then there was the upper world of the Asi or deities the place where the brave lived, the earth of heroes. Around the oak were the four directions divided into the region of the mists or Nifelheim, the region of fire or Muspelheim, the realm of the Vani (realm of the forces of development and growth), and the realm of Giants or Jotunheim.

It is a symbol that is given on the occasion of events that lead to important changes in one's life, such as a baptism, a communion, a confirmation or a wedding are there or an important step in growth, as a gift for a birth or a mother in waiting for your baby, for a job change, if you take a step forward in your professional career, on the occasion of a move to a new home as a symbol of prosperity and new life.

The name agate derives from the Greek “achates”, the name of the river where in ancient times multiple quantities of this stone were found and extracted.

The meaning attributed to the agate is "stone of magic that brings calm and peace". It is a singular stone that we can find in various colors.

Agate is a feminine stone that has multiple properties. Among the most important we have:

• protects mom during pregnancy
• instills courage
• gives peace and tranquility
• instills optimism
• promotes relaxation of the mind and meditation

One of the greatest properties of agate is precisely that of instilling courage, inspiring after having freed the person wearing it from fear and oppression.

The ancient people, including Indians, Nepalese and Tibetans, considered agate a protective and lucky stone, not only for the person but also for the environment.

It was thought that agate was a manifestation of the supernatural and was considered a sacred stone, capable of instilling strength and courage. Pliny claimed that it made athletes invincible and Albert the Great attributed to the gem the power to avoid dangers and overcome setbacks. For this it was a welcome gift to warriors.

In the Lithica poem attributed to Orpheus, we read that the man in love had to wear an agate to win the heart of the desired woman. It is said to strengthen couple fidelity.

There are Agates with bright and too contrasting colors, such as green, blue, yellow and purple, as the stone is artificially colored with techniques that once the craftsmen were handed down from father to son.
