Dragonite o Blue Sandstone Claw

The dragon is a mythological creature widespread in many cultures, the most common representation of which is that of the reptile covered by scales, with long neck and tail, bat wings and powerful jaws from which it is able to spit jets of fire.

The iconography on dragons often represents them as devourers of animals or humans, or as guardians of priceless treasures, controlled by them who remain in a state of half-sleep, with a half-closed eye to check that nothing is stolen and taken from their mighty claws.

In Christian symbolism dragons are often considered creatures of the devil, symbol and incarnation of evil to be killed, by men or knights (in medieval times) who succeeding in the enterprise, will then be defined as Heroes.

Dragons, therefore, creatures of myth and power, hold the most important treasures in their claws, so that no one can steal them from them.

The name Dragonite derives from the desire to associate an important meaning to such a particular stone.
Since it seems to have the entire galaxy trapped inside, it was also thought that its origins were to be connected to a particular place, so the belief spread that this stone could only be extracted from the head of a sleeping dragon, since, when he woke up, the same stone would have melted making it impossible to pick up.

In reality, Blue Sandstone is not a real mineral, rather a translucent crystalline paste inside which, during the melting, a certain amount of beating of iron, metallic silicon or carbon is added, and which when cooled completely separates from the glass of base, dispersing homogeneously in tiny crystals.

It is therefore the presence of copper deposits that tends to give the material a shimmer reminiscent of the stars in space.
The Blue Sandstone is therefore a blue sandstone, and its characteristics concern the improvement of concentration and the increase of intelligence. It is also believed that it improves work efficiency and study skills.

We can therefore use it in meditation when we want to become aware of who we are and where we come from.

It is also useful for connecting to infinite space, to the sense of the Creation of the cosmos, even simply by observing its changing luminous dots, which seem to wink just like the stars.
